Pilates is truly for anyone and everyone. Whether you are an experienced athlete or are rehabilitating from an injury, all levels of fitness can benefit from this classical method.
Founded by Joseph Pilates more than 100 years ago, Pilates is a complete fitness program designed to uniformly condition the entire body with a keen focus on strengthening the core muscles: abdominals, back, shoulder and hip girdle.
Our Pilates students receive training from the most reputable instructors in Rochester in a state-of-the-art studio, while gaining:
- Synergistic balance between strength and flexibility
- Awareness of, and improvement in, movement habits and the body’s postural alignment
- Ability to engage in full diaphragmatic breathing
Come join our Pilates Class program, which offers multiple weekly mat and apparatus class opportunities. Or for a more personal approach, consider private instruction. Many students use private sessions, semi-privates, and classes in their exercise regimen.

Pilates Mat – Strengthen core muscles while reinforcing classical Pilates principles of length, breath, and utilization of props: fitness circles, small balls, flex bands and foam rollers. Sign-up through the Activities Desk (507-287-9300).
Pilates Apparatus ($) – Provides both resistance and support to enhance your ability to achieve deep core connections and improve flexibility. A variety of levels are offered. Sign-up through the Activities Desk (507-287-9300).
Personal Training ($) – Private sessions are tailored to meet your personal goals and address any therapeutic issues or need for modification based on injury or pre-existing conditions. Instructors will provide you with challenging and progressive lessons which will move you rapidly towards attaining your individual goals. Form or join a group for a semi-private lesson, a more affordable private experience. $61/hour.
