What are your interests?
My main passions include health, wellness, and exploring the outdoors. I love running, hiking, biking, and fishing. I played soccer and ran cross country and track in school and am now an avid marathon runner.
What is something people might find interesting about you?
My best friends have four legs and their names are Lily and George! I am a total dog lover.
What is something you wish people knew about exercise?
Exercise is a “get-to” not a “got-to”. Your outlook on exercise will determine your altitude with your health and fitness goals. It is a privilege to be able to use our bodies to do things we love such as hiking, playing catch in the yard, walking up the stairs, and much more. Exercise allows us to continue doing the things we love!
Do you have a favorite exercise quote?
“If you don’t change, then you don’t change.” This quote reminds me that if I want to see results, I need to try new things and get out of my comfort zone.
What do you enjoy as a personal trainer?
I enjoy equipping people with the tools they need to achieve their goals. The best feeling is when someone’s “I can’t” transforms into an “I CAN.”
What is your approach to training?
I focus on functional fitness. This means that I tailor training sessions and workouts to meet a client’s individual goals and mirror movements that they do in everyday life.
What would you like to say to someone who is considering personal training?
There will never be a perfect day to stat something new. I want to equip you with the tools that you need to reach your fitness-related goals. If you are looking for accountability, motivation, and individualized coaching, I am the trainer for you!
